Officials from Constructor University, one of the prominent higher education instructions of Germany, visited Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU). Within the scope of the visit, Alper Demirkan – Regional Manager of the Constructor University – met with EMU students at Senate Meeting Hall, sharing detailed information about the educational programs they offer. EMU Vice Rector for Promotion and Institutional Communication Prof. Dr. Ali Öztüren was also present during the said meeting.

During the meeting, students were introduced to the “4+1 Dual Degree Program” offered as part of the ongoing collaboration between EMU and Constructor University. The program enables graduates of the Business Administration and International Trade and Business programs under EMU Faculty of Business and Economics to complete an additional year of study at Constructor University in Germany and earn an International Business degree from Constructor University. Students’ questions were answered, and detailed information was provided on tuition fees, accommodation options, and living conditions in Germany.

As part of the visit, delegation also paid visits to EMU Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Osman M. Karatepe and Prof. Dr. Mustafa Besim – Dean of EMU Faculty of Business and Economics – and presented extensive information of their educational programs. Throughout the visit, meetings were conducted with International Academic Relations Office Coordinators to evaluate potential future academic partnerships and collaborative projects between the two institutions. At the end of the visit, Constructor University officials were presented with a gift unique to EMU.
